Call Announce, also known as Call Whisper, is a feature that identifies which inbound number your customer has dialled as well as offering your customer’s name. An automated message is played to you specifying the number the caller has dialled, so you know which of your Virtual Numbers they are trying to reach. You are then prepared to answer the call in your most professional manner.

For an additional cost you can have a customised message which announces the offer they are calling about.

You can now decide what to do with a call.

A message announces whether your call comes from any of your virtual numbers, or whether it’s a personal call. You can either take the call yourself by pressing any key to answer, or let it go to a personal or business voicemail. You can also divert it to another phone or your business partner by adding Call Overflow to your call plan. Keypress to Answer has a lot in common with Call Announce. The main difference is that you only answer your call if you choose to press any key on your phone.
