What is State-Based Routing?
Send your callers
to their closest state branch or office.
State-Based Routing is a type of Geographic Routing that automatically directs your callers to the most appropriate store or office in their state or territory when they call your 1300/1800/13 or Local Virtual number.
Zintel’s State-Based Routing system enables you to nominate a location to which all calls, including landline and mobile, within a particular state are routed. State-Based Routing has a lot in common with Postcode Prompting, but covers a broader region. Zintel clients love State-Based Routing because it helps them get their customers to the right local office quickly and cuts out unnecessary transfers.
Why use State-Based Routing?

Zintel Customer Case Study
Melissa runs a small chain of 10 fast food outlets spread around the country. With Zintel, she now has a single business number she can advertise nationally but still have all calls delivered to the local branch based upon the callers geographical location.
Zintel provided her with a toll-free number, geographic routing plan and complex IVR solution to route both landline and mobile callers to their local restaurants.
This enables Mellisa to tap into a nationwide market for the business, while providing a localised presence for customers.
