13 numbers are short 6 digit numbers. For example 13 89 88. They are classed as premium services and are subject to Government charges.

They are classed as local rate services as when they are dialed from an Australian landline the caller will be charged for a local call (approx $0.30).

Calls that originate from mobile phones will be charged to the caller at a rate determined by their mobile phone carrier.

13 Numbers have an added benefit for the business owner, as calls that originate and terminate within the same local area will have a free talk time period of 15 minutes
